The windows are in!!

Since we are again ... and same with good news: We have windows! Today, the window manufacturer
were busy at work and have built our selected window. The now but still the front door and a living room window (it was not to be found ...;-))) Test), because now we left earlier. The fact should meet in the coming week.

Since we are the windows so even on Thursday announced and unfortunately no one was there to drink our coffee, or even anything to install ... We were absolutely delighted that today, now at least most of the windows are here!
The window manufacturers have praised our windows very well because we have chosen real good thing. They are glazed 3-fold, have a U-value of only 0.8 and are immensely thick :-) and with the integrated shutters also really hard!
beginning of the week will be the builders to come back up to the sills, then it is the scaffolding away. We are really excited as our little house, "naked" will work without scaffolding!!

Monday was nice of Electrical Engineers of B + O at us to vote for all electrical installations. It was a nice conversation with many tips and now an estimate for our special requests ... ;-) Where you have to say that there probably is no one who gets by with the ECO standard !?!?! But the quote is exactly what we expected, so this time we get a shock :-)))

This week we have also deleted in spite of the beautiful rain, the roof shelters in part ... because next week is probably the scaffolding removed and the temperatures also be reduced to, this was unfortunately badly needed. So we have at least the high points under the gables with primer and paint provided. The rest can easily be reached by a simple ladder, so that we do this for the spring.

We have also this week the first requests sent later on a large scale needed paving. Since we are advised by the construction manager and surveyors in Bauanlaufgespräche so as the house are 10 cm higher sat down to (what we would not choose again see above), is now much extra to be sand, concrete columns and a lot of specialized skills are required for a " to provide normal outdoor facility. Because we dare not only ran, so we now need experts and will probably get the odd shock when the first offers roll along with us ... ;-)))
