After laaaaannnger time we will get back with this!!

Shortly after the move had been always something to do in the house, then came the gardening and now we are really finally arrived at our new home and have actually done all the work, we come back here to write down everything ;-) So
here we go: On April 09 we had
house delivery with our construction manager Mr. Carstens. As our experts had no time on the day, we were with him already cropped the day before all rooms. And that's what we did with Mr. Carson once again. There were objectionable to us all joy only a few points: it still lacked a few outlet covers; the base tiles around the doors were missing, and 3 windows should be replaced, as there are other were as in the rest of the house. Otherwise, the decrease
was very nice and funny and we already really looking forward to our new home!
The electrician was allowed to enter the following days on the spot for his work to do. On the tiles we had to wait almost 4 weeks, then gave us a bit pissed, because so the rooms are a bit "unfinished" had. And it wants to eventually have perfect ;-))) Well
and the windows were not replaced until now ... It always means that there is no hurry for us to do so and is always so much. But after more than 3 months / almost 4, we would now like to be important enough to come to the series! So we will just keep busy Ask nerves and until it does.

Finally, we must say, however, that this looking back is one of the few negative impressions left by the ECO with us.
We had a great supervisor who is always the right has done for us. Most trades have worked clean, reliable, and besides that, we were very pleased. ECO
We can therefore recommend in good conscience really ;-)

On 16 April came our kitchen and many of our new furniture. That was very exciting and a great day, because it simultaneously was Pascal's birthday yet, and we have so dedicated with several friends the same garden and barbecue. The mechanics
Höffner have worked great and we look forward still daily for our beautiful kitchen. Since we also forget just that it has lasted 3 weeks, until we get the correct attachment for the faucet ...

Here again "THANK YOU" to Mrs. Richter Furniture Hoffner. She gave us great advice, had many great tips and this was also very nice! Who needs a good kitchen planning should go to her!

A day later it was then so far PARADE! Thanks to the many helpers like we were already ready to carry lunch boxes and furniture were rebuilt and unpack the first boxes. It was really great!!

In the days after that we were almost daily in the hardware store or furniture store. Oh dear, what then on amounts, is only for "little things" is not to underestimate the absolute ...

In the week after we moved in then came the garden and the landscaping we had ordered and transformed our property within 10 days of a construction site in our new home absolutely beautiful and ready ;-))))
You have exactly our desires implemented, contributed their great ideas with us and made completely satisfied. Also have provided the nice gentlemen that our little boy no longer get rid of windows and front door was because so much was exciting to see ... And he owes them, the first excavator ride of his life! ;-)))

Incredibly, almost done!

And again we are a giant step further ...
The painting is actually completed !!!!! We had to cancel all rooms 2 times, but that they radiate now in white or colors you want, and we are super happy with it.
At this point, again a big thank you to all the hardworking volunteers love! THANK YOU!

on Tuesday was delivered and installed our stairs in no time. And now the house looks a bit more "finished" from ... :-)))

The building owner's brother was super busy and has built us the beautiful white wood window sills. We are very glad to have decided against the ECO and selection. You fit very well with the white doors and windows.
addition, the hard-working brother still in the laminate floor ("Golden Pear" - very pretty) down, installed the doors and WE also our parquet in the living room and glued down. Chrischi, you're the best!!

The last 2 days we have to clean up then being spent, zusortieren waste and to clean ... These are tasks that make their own new house real fun ;-)

In the next few days then will have the tile - Insert the last tile to the door frames and closing of the flexible joints - and the electrician - inserting the cover of the socket come - and switch.
Friday is at this stage a decrease with the construction manager and the expert ...

April is the kitchen ("as late as possible", our site manager always said so long to dry the walls) and the following day is the parade!

a busy week!

In the past 2 weeks, our house construction on target arrived ...
3 days after the gas line and the connections for electricity and telephone were completed. Was able at last Saturday, the heating can be put into operation. Also have connected the plumbing of the solar system, installed the latest sanitary and brought the under-floor heating in the bathroom and running. This time the men have left a thoroughly positive impression and the not so good impression of the last revised!
addition they have helped us to resolve the misfortune of our little son. He had let in an unguarded moment, a mini-flashlight fall into the still open drain for the washing machine ... The course should not be there, but his hands were not found in the narrow tube inside. But with the help of plumbers and pipe camera that the problem was quickly fixed! THANK YOU!

Not so positive was unfortunately the performance of smoothing the blankets we have given to ECO for a lot of money in order. We then discussed with our consultant that we no longer want to work the land themselves, but begin with the same brush, etc. can. The Treaty was then painting services "filling work (...) in the attic and ceiling joints EC". Sorry, we did not know then that it is also Fachklassifizierzungen.
When the drywall was then completed with the filling, we were not satisfied. After many phone calls and arrangements with our building surveyors and the construction manager, he then wanted to come again to rework. After several Shifts then he has sharpened the surfaces.
A day later, the painter told us then that we had commissioned on the drywall with the papering of the EC-ceiling, said that the filler is not enough in saying that the work be more expensive ... Pascal and I were so absolutely do not agree, because we were signing the contract otherwise specified and agreed upon. After an indignant telephone call and a little wait, it was then the ECO was held with the drywall a solution. This means that the work is now done and we have no additional costs are incurred. It has indeed cost us some nerves, but in the end all is well ;-)

After completion of the tiling We have been surprised us that was not in the kitchen skirting installed throughout, but the land was later ausgesparrt behind the kitchen. Our construction manager, has said that as standard ... In the building was like nothing and we like it so well, since you can never know whether the kitchen but not yet changed. Thus, the tile will come again and complete the missing parts of the baseboard.

Yesterday was also the painter in the house and we have the EC-appointed painter fleece blankets provided. This is the transitions of the individual ceiling panels effectively cover. Also had the nice two gentlemen have tips for our painting in stock, which help us determine.
Our own work in the "strike" are already in full swing ... After we have advised us of several pages, how the walls and ceiling work of a new building is intended, we opted for the described papering the ceiling, and otherwise for sleeping, filling, priming and final painting with a color that in some hardware stores to buy and which are already known have had very good experiences. So we put together a long shopping list in the hardware store and asked where we would all receive according to whether these "numbers" can not give a small discount ... and lo and behold, there were 18% off! So our advice is to all other clients ask necessarily for discounts! That makes the spending almost more fun ;-)))
Last weekend we began with the filling, sanding and priming the floor and fun is something else ... :-) But this weekend it goes on with great support of our friends and family, in addition, the laminate is placed in the nursery and the result we are looking forward so much that we take the "crappy" work in their stride, - )))
